Platform Overview

Remote Co Work is a curated talent engine that connects pre-vetted global professionals with US-based employers. Understanding our role is essential before using the platform.

Not an Employer

Remote Co Work is a hiring platform, not an employer of record. We do not employ candidates on behalf of any party.

No Employment Contracts

Remote Co Work is not a party to any employment or contractor agreement between employers and candidates.

Direct Hiring

Employers and candidates contract directly. Remote Co Work facilitates the connection, it does not manage the employment relationship.

Platform Model

Remote Co Work operates exclusively as a curated matching service. We vet and present talent, but all final hiring decisions, compensation agreements, and employment terms are established directly between the employer and candidate.

Candidate Terms

As a candidate on Remote Co Work, you agree to the following terms when creating a profile and participating in our talent pool.

What You Can Do

  • Create and maintain a professional profile
  • Submit your resume and work samples
  • Join the curated Remote Co Work talent pool
  • Apply to job opportunities through the platform
  • Receive employer introductions and interviews

Your Obligations

  • Provide accurate, truthful professional information
  • Not submit false credentials or fabricated experience
  • Participate professionally in all interactions
  • Notify Remote Co Work of material profile changes
  • Respect the confidentiality of employer information

No Guarantee of Employment

Remote Co Work does not guarantee employment, interviews, or placement for any candidate. Inclusion in the talent pool represents curation eligibility, not a promise of job placement. Final hiring decisions rest solely with employers.

Employer Terms

Employers using Remote Co Work to source talent agree to the following terms and responsibilities.

Submit Hiring Requirements

Employers may submit detailed job requirements through the platform. All role descriptions must accurately represent the position, responsibilities, and compensation range.

Review Curated Candidates

Remote Co Work presents pre-vetted candidates matching your requirements. Employers agree to evaluate candidates in good faith and provide timely feedback.

Pay Agreed Placement Fees

Upon successfully hiring a candidate, employers agree to pay the agreed placement fee. No fees are charged prior to a confirmed hire.

Employer-Candidate Disputes

Remote Co Work is not responsible for any disputes arising between employers and candidates after an introduction has been made. Employment relationship management, compensation negotiations, and conflict resolution are the sole responsibility of the contracting parties.

Payment Terms

Remote Co Work charges employers only after a successful hire. Candidates always use the platform at no cost.

No Upfront Fees

Employers are never charged before a hire is confirmed. Payment is triggered only by successful onboarding.

Success-Based Model

You only pay when you've hired the right candidate and they've started the role. Risk-free sourcing.

Replacement Guarantee

If a placed candidate leaves within the agreed guarantee period, Remote Co Work will provide a replacement at no additional charge, subject to terms.

Invoice Terms

Invoices are issued upon confirmed candidate start date. Standard payment terms are net-30 from invoice date. Late payments may accrue interest at 1.5% per month. All fees are agreed upon in your employer agreement prior to engaging.

Talent Curation Disclaimer

Remote Co Work applies a rigorous manual vetting process to all candidates in our talent pool. However, curation does not constitute a guarantee.

Not Guaranteed

  • Individual on-the-job performance
  • Employment success or duration
  • Culture fit with specific teams
  • Business outcomes from hiring
  • Retention beyond guarantee period

Employer Responsibility

The final hiring decision rests entirely with the employer. Remote Co Work's curation improves the quality of the candidate pool but does not replace the employer's own assessment, interviews, and due diligence process.

Platform Usage Restrictions

To protect all users and maintain the integrity of Remote Co Work, the following actions are strictly prohibited.

False Profiles

Creating profiles with fabricated credentials, false employment history, or misleading qualifications is prohibited and may result in permanent suspension.

Fraudulent Activity

Any attempt to defraud other users, misrepresent job offers, or engage in deceptive hiring practices is a violation of these terms.

Spam & Harassment

Users must not send unsolicited bulk communications, harass other users, or use the platform for any purpose other than legitimate hiring.

Data Scraping

Automated data collection, scraping, crawling, or extraction of any platform data, profiles, or content is strictly prohibited.

Enforcement

Violations of these restrictions may result in immediate account suspension, legal action, and reporting to relevant authorities. Remote Co Work reserves the right to investigate suspected violations at any time.

Limitation of Liability

Remote Co Work's liability is limited in connection with the hiring outcomes facilitated through the platform.

Remote Co Work is not liable for:

Employment outcomes of any kind
Candidate performance post-hire
Loss of income or revenue
Business losses or disruption
Disputes between employers and candidates
Third-party actions on the platform
Platform downtime or data interruption
Decisions made based on platform information

Maximum Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Remote Co Work's total aggregate liability arising from or related to these Terms shall not exceed the total fees paid by you to Remote Co Work in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

Termination

Remote Co Work reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts in accordance with these terms.

Grounds for Suspension

  • Confirmed fraudulent account activity
  • Violation of platform usage restrictions
  • Harassment of other users
  • Non-payment of agreed fees (employers)
  • Misrepresentation of credentials (candidates)

User-Initiated Closure

  • Users may close accounts at any time
  • Data deletion available upon written request
  • Outstanding obligations survive termination
  • Placed candidates remain subject to fee terms
  • Contact support to initiate account closure
